Calcutta viola stone, with its richly figured veins in plum, burgundy, and inky browns and blacks, is the visual centerpiece of this sideboard. The stunning slab of oval stone rests on a cabinet with bullnose corners of handapplied tupelo veneers finished in sultry otter gloss. The piece's metal frame is a series of four, long, slender round rods in brushed gold that create a slight deco feel. The doors' hardware geometrically intersects with the brushed gold feet.
