Dominique Ropion gives the perfume a highly unusual overdose of vetiver (around 25 percent, whereas it is usually three times less). Stripped of its bitter edge, a new essence of vetiver matches with five woody notes to play up the scent's various facets. The result is surprisingly fresh and crisp. About the Perfumer: Dominique Ropion trained at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory before going to work with JeanLouis Sieuzac, one of the perfumery world's great technicians. Today he is a star perfumer at IFF.
