We recommend cleaning brushes with soap and water to remove residue buildup. Dry with a soft towel. To Backcomb for Volume: Start with completely dry, detangled hair. Use the tapered end of the teasing brush to section hair at the crown of your head. Use one hand to hold a section taught. With your other hand, bring the teasing brush behind the section to backcomb hair. Continue working with sections to achieve desired volume. Once all sections are backcombed, lightly brush over the top of each section to smooth flyaways. To Style Edges: To define edges in an updo, gather baby hairs around the hairline and use the edge comb's teeth to brush through and separate strands. Place a small dollop of gel on a 1" section of hair. Using the edge comb's bristles, brush the gel through strands to create a defined swoop. Guide any stray ends into your updo to prevent flyaways. Continue working with sections until hair is fully styled.
